Artful prog-rock collective Yamantaka // Sonic Titan's talents extend beyond the performance side of things, and singer Ruby Kato Attwood is flexing her filmmaking skills by co-presenting a pensive video for UZU's "Titan and Dione: Saturn Returns."
Attwood and Derrick Belcham frame the piano ballad with silhouetted female figures, spiralling crystalline objects and reverse-image rain scenes, all fitting in with Attwood's longing lyrics about being carried home to a idyllic nature scene. The whole thing gets a bit buzzy, mind you, once a whirl of white noise and insect imagery get ushered into the back end.
