Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been building up our anticipation for Mosquito, and with under a month to go until the album's April 16 release through Interscope, they have rolled out a video for the minimal, gospel-inflected single "Sacrilege."
The clip begins with some townspeople standing around fire in a field, and the story then plays out in reverse chronological order as we learn that a woman (played by British model and actress Lily Cole) and her lover are being burned by the angry mob. As the clip moves along, we discover that the woman has been getting frisky with some of the members of the crowd, and the burning is evidently some sort of punishment.
