Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch is back on the market, and could be all yours for just $67 million USD.
The new price tag shows a significant discount from the $100 million asking price that was attached to the property last year. As previously reported, Jackson sold the estate to Colony Capital for $23.5 million prior to his death in 2009.
The 2,700-acre property is located in Los Olivos, CA, and as noted by the Associated Press, the compound boasts a 12,000-square-foot house and 3,700-square-foot pool house, plus a movie theatre, dance studio, Disney-esque train station, fire house and a barn.
Jackson bought the property in 1988, naming it after the make believe place in Peter Pan where children never grow up, and installing amusement park rides and an exotic petting zoo. The ranch became the focal point of scandal, however, when Jackson was accused, tried and eventually acquitted of child abuse allegations between 2003 and 2005.
It has since been renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch. The amusement park and most of the animals have been removed, though the floral clock spelling out "Neverland" remains, as do some swans and a llama, apparently.
