The British blokes of Young Fathers took home last year's Mercury Prize with their album DEAD, and as they press ahead with a new LP called White Men Are Black Men Too, they have shared the track "Shame."
The experimental hip-hop trio have previously described White Men Are Black Men Too as "our interpretation of what a pop album should be." On "Shame," this translates in a minimal soul-rock thump with urgent electronic rhythms and inventive, atmospheric overdubs and texture.
Hear it below. White Men Are Black Men Too arrives on April 7 through Big Dada. See the band's tour schedule here.
