On March 7, Youth Lagoon (aka Trevor Powers) will drop Wondrous Bughouse, the follow-up to the lush, slow-building pop creations of 2010's The Year of Hibernation. In anticipation, Power has unveiled another track, "Mute," as well as a host of North American tour dates.
Powers will kick off his lengthy trek in Spokane, WA, on February 25, and will play both Coachella weekends, as well as dates in Toronto on May 13 and Vancouver on May 23. By that point, Wondrous Bughouse will be out on Fat Possum, but until then, Powers has dropped "Mute," a grandiose, woozy epic with a cyclical keyboard line and droning guitars.
