In the midst of completing the final leg of her massive tour behind Queen of Me, one of the buses in Shania Twain's fleet crashed yesterday (November 8), sending 13 members of the star's production crew to the hospital.

The bus was driving down the Trans-Canada highway near Wolseley, SK — a town about 95 km east of Regina — shortly after 7 a.m. CT when it rolled, and a truck also involved with the touring company jackknifed.

According to the RCMP [via Entertainment Tonight], they received a call about the accident just after 7 a.m. CT and 13 people ended up being taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. As per the Saskatchewan Health Authority [via CBC News], two people were later transferred to a hospital in Regina and the others were discharged.

"One crew bus and one truck from the Shania Twain – Queen Of Me tour were involved in a highway accident driving between Winnipeg and Saskatoon," the singer's management group said in a statement to Page Six. "Multiple vehicles encountered dangerous driving conditions due to inclement weather."

Highway 1 was closed east of Wolseley to the Manitoba border on that morning due to poor driving conditions, with Dwayne Stone — fire chief for the nearby town of Grenfell — telling CBC News that his team also responded to two jackknifed semi-trailers on the highway prior to the closure.

"We are incredibly thankful to the emergency services teams for their quick response and ongoing support," the statement from Twain's management concluded. "We ask for patience as we look after our touring family."

Twain was not on the bus involved in the crash, and her tour is set to resume at Saskatoon's SaskTel Centre tonight. She last performed in Winnipeg on Tuesday (November 7).
