Toronto songwriter Andrew Austin is known for having his music in ad campaigns from Tim Hortons and Alexander Keith's, and as he gets ready for a couple of hometown gigs at Canadian Music Week, he has shared a video for his song "If It Ain't This Town."
The song is a thoughtfully sweeping folk rock number, and director Eric James Mayer captures the yearning mood with ultra-scratchy vintage home movies. The result is a nostalgic remembrance of snowy drives, family time by the lake, and childhood pony rides.
