Toronto songwriter Andrew Austin — known to some as the dude responsible for the song from Alexander Keith's "Toast This Life" campaign — has a new album called While It's Still Light Out via MapleMusic Recordings on October 8. Before then, the entire thing is available to stream on Exclaim.ca.

The 12 songs were recorded with David Newfeld (Broken Social Scene, Super Furry Animals) at the producer's Dobbstown Haunted Church studio.

The results include acoustic folk numbers like "To Love Like This Again" and "Cheap Motel," soul-tinged cuts like "Missile Under My Bed" and "Sending Out a Message," and lushly orchestrated anthems like "Inside Out" and "Here Comes the River."
