Despite being a slur-sayer and country music's answer to the Toronto chair girl, Morgan Wallen's star power only grows. You can't even really use the "separate the art from the artist" excuse here when his latest single "I'm the Problem" is just as nasty as two years of probation.
It's a classic "Sure-I'm-a-bad-lover-but-it's-my-bitch-wife's-fault" number, where he blames his issues on his partner's sunk cost fallacy. "If I'm the problem, well, you might be the reason," he sings through clipping compression and a pseudo-mysterious lead guitar hanging dead over repetitive acoustics.
Unfortunately, this is a threat of more to come, as an album with the same self-aware name is coming sometime soon. Feel better about your own relationship by listening below.
