Avril Lavigne Plots 2024 World Tour with Simple Plan, All Time Low

It includes stops in six Canadian cities

BY Megan LaPierrePublished Jan 30, 2024

Avril Lavigne has mapped out a world tour, because what the hell, right? Her Greatest Hits tour — with special guests Simple Plan, All Time Low, Royal & the Serpent and Girlfriends — will bring her to Canada for six concerts.

UPDATE (1/30 1:46 p.m. ET): Due to popular demand, Lavigne has added a second date at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena on August 12 and a Calgary show on September 18 at Scotiabank Saddledome. Pre-sale for the new dates happens tomorrow (January 31), with general on-sale beginning February 1 at 10 a.m. local time.

And that's where Lavigne will kick things off, with a concert at Vancouver's Rogers Arena on May 22. She'll go on to the US, Europe and the UK before making her way back to Canada in August for a trio of dates in Ottawa (August 14), Toronto (August 16) and Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC (August 17), for the International Balloon Festival.

After venturing back into the US, the Napanee native will return to close out the trek, with the final dates currently scheduled in Winnipeg (September 14) and Edmonton (September 16), where Lavigne was interrupted by a topless protestor at the JUNOs last year.

Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday (January 26), with various presales beginning Wednesday (January 24). See the full itinerary below.
