Bad Religion's Greg Graffin Prepares Book for 2009

Besides being the front-man of legendary punks Bad Religion, Greg Graffin has made a name for himself as a professor at UCLA and an evolutionary activist. With a PhD from Cornell and an "Outstanding Lifetime Achievement Award in Cultural Humanism," it's safe to say that the dude knows evolution. So academic punk rockers take notice: Graffin is gearing up to release his first book, Anarchy Evolution, in 2009.

In a recent YouTube interview, Graffin - in his best professor garb - opened up about the book, stating, "This is my view of how you can be a more interesting atheist than has been advertised by the popular books of the last three years by calling yourself a naturalist instead. So this will be a worldview that is informed by evolutionary biology, as well as a life in the creative endeavors." The clip can be seen below.
