Baroness Members Released from Hospital; Band Cancel All 2012 Tour Commitments

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Aug 27, 2012

A few weeks back, Savannah, GA metal troupe Baroness suffered a brutal bus crash outside of Bath, England, that landed a few members and their road crew in the hospital. Fortunately, the more seriously injured members of the act have now been released from an English medical facility and returned to the U.S.

As previously reported, the band's John Baizley broke his left arm and left leg, while Allen Blickle and Matt Maggioni each suffered fractured vertebrae in the August 15 crash, where their bus plummeted 30 feet off a viaduct. A new Facebook post from the group confirms that Baizley is now out of the hospital's care, and Blickle and Maggioni are back on the other side of the pond.

Fans, friends and family are no doubt elated to know the group are recovering, and should be pretty understanding about the act canceling all remaining tour commitments this year in support of their recently delivered Yellow & Green LP. You can check the scrubbed tour schedule down below.
