Baroness recently announced plans for their next colourfully titled LP, Purple, teasing fans with a taste of the cover. Now, the full album artwork has been revealed.
The four quadrants of the picture were unveiled to fans first, upon the arrival of T-shirts that were shipped out along with pre-orders for the deluxe version of the new record. A time-lapse video has now compiled each part of the full image for everyone to see, though, first showing off the intricate outlines and then filling them in with vibrant shades of violet.
The cover was designed by the band's John Baizley, who has contributed the artwork for all of Baroness's releases. Purple is out on December 18 through the group's own Abraxan Hymns imprint, and you can find the band's upcoming tour dates listed below.
