Canmore Folk Festival is set to return to Alberta's Rocky Mountains this summer, with over two-dozen acts heading out west for the August long weekend (August 2–4).
In addition to headliners Aysanabee, Basia Bulat, Corb Lund, Donovan Woods and Frazey Ford, this year's lineup includes Blue Moon Marquee, Chad VanGaalen, David Francey, Dominique Fils-Aimé, Jeremie Albino, Julian Taylor, Kishi Bashi, Mary Gauthier, Nick Shoulders, Shakura S'Aida, Shooglenifty, Willi Carlisle, Wyatt C. Louis, Al Simmons, Alex Nicol, Amelie Patterson, Aske Skat, Burnstick, the Denim Daddies, Denver Venoit, Ellorie McKnight, Empanadas Ilegales, the Fugitives, the Hearts, John Wort Hannam, Jolie Laide, Kim Churchill, Leaf Rapids, Lloyd Spiegel, the Lucky Ones, Medusa, Ndidi O, Nico Paulo, Nicolette and the Nobodies, Sam Brookes, Skinny Dyck, Steph Strings, Zachary Lucky, the Backyard Betties, Caroline Whyte, the Motown 6, Mountain Mansion, Natalie Inga & the Ladybros, Side Hustle, the Three Sisters and more.
"This year's lineup truly represents the best of what Canada has to offer," Executive & Artistic Director Jenna Klein-Waller said in a release. "We are committed to fostering Canadian artists and creating an event that brings together music lovers from all walks of life to experience the magic of live music in the Rockies."
Tickets are on sale now, with full-weekend passes available at $195 for adults, $175 for seniors, $70 for youths and $425 for families (two adults, two children); all prices include tax. Children under 12 receive free admission, but registration is required. Find more information here.
