Now that Michael Bay has his grubby childhood-ruining hands all over the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, there's only a small window of time to appreciate the franchise before it's just fodder for pervy Megan Fox GIFs. With that in mind, the BCASA have dedicated a whole album to the four green warriors.
Before we go any further, we should warn you — the BCASA's name is an acronym for the Bill Cosby Anarchist Society of America, and this release is exactly as silly as you'd expect from a band who willingly call themselves that.
That doesn't mean it's bad, however — citing a love of Wu-Tang, the Beastie Boys, the Hives and even Municipal Waste, this is a remarkably lobotomized collection of party anthems that embrace turtle power while showcasing every riff they can possibly think of. It's stupid in the way that eating a midnight snack or secretly pounding a beer in a park is stupid, but also necessary.
Check out the remarkably goofy album below. Fuck You Shredder will be available on June 18 via Stomp Records. The BCASA also have several Canadian tour dates coming up, and you can check all those out here. Pre-order the album on iTunes here.
