The word "Santa" is almost identical to the word "Satan," and it's in this sinister holiday spirit that Montreal punks the BCASA have released 'Tis the Season to Praise Satan.
The EP consists of five fast, silly, occasionally theatrical punk tunes with titles like "Santa Killed JFK" and "Deck the Halls 2: The Rise of Lord Satan." The former tune ends with a Dr. Dre-referencing passage of Beastie Boys-esque rap, while other parts of the EP include shout-along "fa-la-la" chants and heavy metal screams of "six-six-six."
Stream it below. If you purchase the $5 EP between now and December 25, all proceeds with go to the Sun Youth Organization, which will be giving presents and food to low-income families over the holidays.
