Last year, Blackie and the Rodeo Kings released their collaboration-heavy album Kings and Queens, and File Under: Music recently reissued that record as a deluxe edition with a pair of Patty Loveless-featuring bonus tracks. As previously reported, the acclaimed roots outfit will go about promoting the re-release with a North American tour, which has now been expanded and has a pile of special guests.
Throughout the course of the month-long tour, which runs from November to December, the group will travel from Ontario to the West Coast and back, making for a total of 21 shows. Along the way, they will link up with a number of guest performers, including Exene Cervenka (of X), Amy Helm, Matt Anderson, Mary Margaret O'Hara, Janiva Magness, Murray McLauchlan and Kendal Carson.
See the schedule below, and pay special attention to who will be appearing each night. The Prairie dates are particularly guest-heavy.
