Gucci Mane has long been working on his autobiography, so it only makes sense that he'd be hobnobbing with literary types. Over the weekend, he took things to the next level by becoming besties with acclaimed author Malcolm Gladwell.
It all started when a fan tweeted a photo of Gucci holding up Gladwell's David and Goliath book at the author:
Gladwell responded with great excitement, saying it "might be the greatest thing that has ever happened to me" in his own tweet:
Then Gucci took to Twitter to explain that he's been reading Gladwell's work for a while:
Here's hoping this is the start of a long and fruitful friendship. At the very least, Gladwell could write a forward for Gucci's book. That said, we'd also love to hear the author spit some bars on an upcoming mixtape.
