Nearly every festival this summer is coming back from a forced two-year hiatus thanks to the pandemic, but Field Trip also sat 2019 out, which made the Toronto event's return to Fort York on July 9 that much more of a relief. This year's lineup was filled with artists that exude passion and joy — fitting for a festival created to celebrate similar-minded local label Arts & Crafts and founding band Broken Social Scene.
