In a statement, bandleader Sarah Tudzin shares that new single "sandwich sharer" was "very much written at the precipice of unknowns," adding, "I was seeking a teammate at a time where I felt swayed by nostalgia for youth as opposed to the reality of the momentum of life. And it feels so good to be close to someone who knows you so well it's like you finish each others' … sandwiches."
Illuminati Hotties' North American tour — on which they'll be joined by Katy Kirby, Pom Pom Squad, Fenne Lily and Mini Trees — features some Canadian stops, which you can find further details about here. In addition to today's new track, the trek will support last year's excellent Let Me Do One More, one of Exclaim!'s 50 Best Albums of 2021.
