Katy Perry has been accused of sexual harassment by the co-star of her music video for "Teenage Dream."
Josh Kloss, a model who starred alongside Perry in the video for the 2010 single, first made the allegations against the singer in an Instagram post yesterday (August 11), recalling an interaction between them at party:
So I saw Katy a couple times after break up with Russel [Brand]. This one time I brought a friend who was dying to meet her. It was Johny Wujeck's birthday party at moonlight roller way. And when I saw her, we hugged and she was still my crush. But as I turned to introduce my friend, she pulled my Adidas sweats and underwear out as far as she could to show a couple of her guy friends and the crowd around us, my penis. Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed I felt?
Kloss revealed that he was paid $650 for appearing in the video, writing that he was "lorded over" by Perry's representatives "about not discussing a single thing about anything regarding Katy publicly."
"I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse. But females with power are just as disgusting," Kloss wrote. "So, happy anniversary to one of the most confusing, assaulting, and belittling jobs I've ever done."
Today, Kloss shared a second post in response to Perry fans who have rebuked the allegations, writing "For the strong youth defending their queen on here. I commend your heart behind your comments, which seeks to protect someone you idolize."
He then pointed to Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian as "two women in a lot more power than Katy" who "TREATED me with RESPECT! perhaps you should give them your loyalty."
A third post finds Kloss writing, "I was supposed to minimize myself and stay PC to protect her 'image'. I listened and was a good boy. The fear sticks with you, when you are censored to protect someone else's image. But in return treated like a prostitute and exposed in front of a group of her friends and other random people."
Perry has yet to respond to Kloss' allegations publicly. Last year, she received backlash for kissing a 19-year-old contestant on American Idol. In 2017, Perry came under fire for grabbing Shawn Mendes' butt on the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Perry shared new song "Small Talk" last week. Earlier this month, she lost a court case over her 2013 single "Dark Horse." Find Kloss' Instagram posts below.
