Singer-songwriter Basia Bulat is welcoming Montreal to Basia's Palace on her 2025 North American tour. Speaking with Exclaim! for our High 5 column, Bulat shared that the experience of creating her album was "a bit like working on a really big quilt over a really long time. It felt like I was building a little sonic world piece by piece that expanded as I went further into it."

Cadence Weapon — recently appeared in Graeme Mathieson's Play It Loud: How Toronto Got Soul, a film that delves into Toronto's under-celebrated music history.
