Whether you love em or hate em, My Chemical Romance arent the poseurs every naysayer would like them to be, a point that is evident in this two DVD/CD package. The first DVD contains a video diary that tells of the bands history via interviews from their inception and time spent on Eyeball Records to singer Gerard Ways alcoholism and the recording of 2004s platinum Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. Though the repetition of quotes gets a little trying, it gives some great insight into this mainstream phenomenon while showcasing their very different personalities. The second DVD features live performances, proving theyre a competent stage act that knows how to entertain an audience. An accompanying CD of these performances and two unreleased goodies round off this must have for MCR fans. (Reprise)
