Ozzy Osbourne has received plenty of honours over the years, but the next is particularly special — he's being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

As Wrestling Observer reports, the 72-year-old metal legend will be immortalized in the world of wrestling when the pretaped award ceremony airs tonight at 8 p.m. ET on Peacock and the WWE Network.

Ozzy has been something of a WWE regular over the years, most famously joining Captain Lou Albano to take down the British Bulldogs at WrestleMania 2. He even hosted Raw in 2009.

The performer joins a fellow singer in one William Shatner as an inductee for the 2020/2021 class of the Hall of Fame. Other additions include Davey Boy Smith, JBL, Jushin Liger, the nWo, the Bella Twins, Titus O'Neil, Molly Holly, Eric Bischoff, Rob Van Dam, Kane and the Great Khali.

Ozzy recently came to the defence of his wife Sharon Osbourne after her unceremonious exit from CBS's The Talk. Read his response here
