Lee Bannon, the Californian hip-hop producer who first came to prominence for his work with New York's Pro Era, will make a name for himself as a solo artist, having just signed a deal with reputable hip-hop experimenters Ninja Tune.
According to a statement from the label [via FACT], Bannon has signed on with the imprint and will release his debut album Alternate / Endings on December 9.
That's all we know about that release for now, but you can check out Bannon's genre-hopping 22-minute EP Place / Crusher, which spans everything from jungle to disjointed hip-hop, below, or download it here.
Stay tuned for more info on Alternate / Endings.
