Soccer Mommy has announced a massive tour in support of her forthcoming album Sometimes, Forever, which is due for release on June 24 through Loma Vista. She's also shared a new song from the effort.
The massive tour includes a lone stop in Canada; after kicking off in June in New York City, making its way across the Atlantic and back again, Soccer Mommy will perform Vancouver's Commodore on December 12, just a handful of stops before the tour concludes in Dallas. That date north of the border will see support from Montreal's TOPS, while other shows will find Soccer Mommy sharing the stage with the War on Drugs, Haim, Lightning Bug and Helena Deland.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, May 20, at 10 a.m. local time, while a presale aptly named Touring, Forever starts Thursday, May 19, at 10 a.m. local time here. A portion of presale tickets sold via the band website will be donated to Planned Parenthood.
Sometimes, Forever is further previewed today by "Bones," the Daniel Lopatin-produced album opener, which arrives alongside a music video by Alex Ross Perry.
"Bones is a song about struggling with the parts of yourself that you don't like in a relationship," the artist born Sophie Allison explained. "It's about wanting to become better for someone and feeling like you're standing in your own way."
