Let's all make an effort to squeeze as many concerts as possible into the shortest month of the year! This February packs a punch in a small package, bringing some of the country's finest roots talent as well as one of the hottest rappers on the planet.

Here are Vancouver's can't-miss concerts for February 2025. See our full Canadian concert listings here, as well as our tour announcements.

More than simply a singer-songwriter, Grenadian-Canadian roots artist Kaïa Kater is a musical historian, telling stories of her dad's experience as a political refugee on 2018's Grenades and giving voice to the oppressed on last year's enlightening, intoxicating Strange Medicine.

070 Shake
February 13, Commodore Ballroom

She's featured on one of RAYE's biggest hits and has opened up on huge tours with Coldplay and Kid Cudi — but 070 Shake is also a can't-miss rapper in her own right, taking a well-deserved headlining run on the strength of recent album Petrichor.

Mount Eerie
February 13, Rickshaw Theatre

Phil Elverum famously creates immersive sonic worlds in the studio — and having done just that on his 2024 album Night Palace, he's taking his art-folk soundscapes on tour for a show that's sure to rewrite the boundaries of his inventive studio arrangement.

Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats
February 13, Rogers Arena

Having taken audiences South of Here on his 2024 album, Americana artist Nathaniel Rateliff and his backing band the Night Sweats will head north for Canadian arena dates in support of his dusty, rootsy and vulnerable folk-soul.

Leif Vollebekk
February 14, The Pearl

What better way to spend Valentine's Day that to take your sweetie to Leif Vollebekk? Come for the tender tunes from last year's Revelation, stay for the Ottawa singer-songwriter's remarkable prowess on both guitar and piano.

Black Mountain
February 15, Rickshaw Theatre

Local heroes Black Mountain will bring their heavy, psychedelic headbangers back home for a jam-packed show at the Rickshaw — and if you don't manage to get tickets, maybe you'll have better luck with their L.A. wildfires benefit the next night at Green Auto Body.

MJ Lenderman
February 21, Rickshaw Theatre

Lend an ear, man — it's MJ Lenderman! Thanks to his contributions to Wednesday and Waxahatchee, as well as last year's impeccably rollicking Manning Fireworks, he's become one of the most acclaimed indie rock artists of the last few years.

Chat Pile
February 27, The Pearl

One of the most exciting bands in heavy music, Chat Pile will push the PA at the Pearl to the max with the pummelling, sludgy and socially conscious noise rock scorchers from their beloved albums, 2022's God's Country and 2024's Cool World.

Jeremie Albino
February 28, Commodore Ballroom

A fast-rising figure in Canada's roots scene, Jeremie Albino has been making waves with his bluesy, folksy rock tunes — mostly heard on last year's Our Time in the Sun, which was produced by the Black Keys' singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach.

Tyler, the Creator
February 28, Rogers Arena

The high-concept rapper brings his latest theatrical epic to Vancouver for the first Canadian stop of his 2025 tour. Expect masks, a big shipping crate, and the self-searching bangers from last year's CHROMAKOPIA.
